Our little Melanie is so brave! The pool has only been up for almost a month and already Melanie has been making progress towards swimming! It first started with her being independently holding on & hanging out on the ladder. Then progressed to dunking her head. Then not holding on to the ladder while her weight was supported against the side of the pool and her feet against the ladder. Then holding on to the side of the pool and shimmying herself all the way around the pool! Then she she just started letting go here & there to see what would happen! Then finally last night she just let go and made her way around the pool towards Duane and Kyle!!!!!! Melanie was SUPER EXCITED!!!! She didn't want to get out of the pool and away from her new found independence!!!

WOW!!!! HOW AWESOME IS THAT!!! MELANIE'S SWIMMING ON HER OWN ALREADY! SHE'S GROWING SO FAST AND YET STILL WANTS TO KNOW HER DADDY'S RIGHT THERE UNTIL SHE'S SURE OF HERSELF! SIMPLY AMAZING! AND KYLE TOO BEING THE PATIENT BROTHER WHILE MELANIE IS LEARNING, STAYING IN THE WATER BUT GIVING HER HER OWN SPACE JUST AS HE KNEW HE NEEDED IT WHEN HE LEARNED. WAY TO GO KYLE!
