Baby McGurk Sonogram 9-25-15 Approx. 19 Weeks

We had a sono this past Friday and the Sono Tech and Dr. said "Everything looks good." The Tech suggested the baby was weighing in around 10 oz. I love how it looks as though it was smiling in the picture. Also, the left arm looks like a stump, remember this is a sonogram picture, not a real pic., there are lots of shadows. As you can see in the other photos the hand/arm is fine. I also like how the baby has it's hand covering it's ears. I think Sean was making noise at the time and this baby just didn't want to hear it anymore. LOL!

Ice Cream Sundae Painting Party: Melanie's 8th. Birthday

We had a painting party for Melanie! She and her friends painted Ice Cream Sundaes, or as some people like to call them, Banana Splits. The kiddos had a really great time. They are terrific painters and really good at following the directions given to them.
I met this lady, Nancy Rhea when we first moved here. She hosted a Painting in the Park. It was a lot of fun. She's really good with teaching children to paint and she's a fellow homeschooling mom. Then I saw her again at Lori's house when she instructed us during a lady's 40th. birthday. Nancy is AWESOME. Since meeting Nancy, I've learned that she is also a fellow Dave Ramsey follower. I love helping and encouraging people who are trying to improve their lives by empowering themselves through Jesus Christ and trying to live a more purposeful life. She's an entrepreneur, a mom of four and a wife to a hard working husband-so I really wanted to hire her for Melanie's party to encourage her of meeting their DEBT-FREE financial goals! Plus, did I mention she is a really great painting instructor? Anyway, Melanie's birthday was a total blast. I never had so many children under my roof at once and it was F.U.N. The children had a great, fun, sugary time and they painted too. Melanie made out like a bandit thanks to her grandparents, friends and family. We are super thankful to be living in Providence and getting to know such awesome people!

I just thought these were good pictures.

Baby Bump (9-19-15) Approximately 18 weeks

I can't get a good look at my Baby Bump until I'm actually lying down and I have Melanie take the pictures. Then I see the true Baby Bump. In picture #3 I'm really trying to suck in my stomach muscles for an enhanced Baby Bump effect. I'm absolutely intrigued at the different shapes you can see just below my skin. I also enjoy occasionally feeling little boney prominences & trying to determine what they are. It creeps Duane out. LOL!

ATTACK! Of the Chip Eating Ants!

Melanie dropped a chip in the grass while we were out enjoying the sun. The next thing I knew there was a swarm of ants gobbling up this chip. I found it fascinating! I just forgot to go back and see the chip when we were done playing outside. I'm pretty bummed about that. I'll just never know if they were able to completely devour it and take it to their queen.

Sean Plays Pretend With Melanie

This sweet lil guy opens his mouth eagerly for just about anything. It's quite funny, actually. I wish he was just as eager to start crawling.

Another "B" Bump Pic. (9-15-15) Aproximately 17 1/2 Weeks

I felt like my bump was really protruding that morning, so I laid down and WOWSERS! Was my bump rounded! LOL!

Baby Bump (9-14-15) Approximately 17 Weeks

I was very curious to see what my baby bump looks like. I can't quite see it while standing up because my stomach muscles are all stretched out concealing my actual "b" bump. So I laid down to see it, but when I lifted my chin the bump changed. So I had Melanie take a few pics. Oh my goodness, WHAT a thrill! My baby is totally growing! Yay! My belly button is still extremely ugly and takes away from the sweetness of my growing belly, but I LOVE the "B" Bump just the same.

Back To School Homeschool Swim Party

We went to a Back to School Homeschool Swim Party! We had so much FUN! The lady doing the hula hoop contest and her husband coordinated the whole thing. She bought prizes for the contests and all the "toys" to do the contests. They are really awesome people. I couldn't believe how many homeschoolers there were in attendance. And not all of the homeschooling families showed up. WOW! Melanie even made a little friend named Olivia. I'm so excited to be living here in Providence and meeting all these sweet, fun families. Such a blessing.
