Smokey-Our Very Amusing (Annoying) Cat
If you ask Duane, "He's not amusing. He's annoying. Anyone want a FREE cat? He's an over weight blob." If you ask me, "He's frisky. He's funny. He's very special. He's not fat, he's fluffy." I absolutely adore this cat. Duane, absolutely loathes this cat. However, I think he secretly LOVES Smokey. You should see him when he thinks no one is watching. I guess you guys can make your own opinion.

"Gems" Experiment
We learned in Melanie's Science book how to make "gems", like diamonds. Of course ours aren't nearly as valuable. HA! But it was still fun using boiling water & salt to make our beautiful "gems."
