Kyle had Friday off from school. He spent nearly the ENTIRE day fishing! He came home 2 times-once to get more bait & then because he was thirsty. He didn't even eat lunch! Not even a snack-HIGHLY UNUSUAL for Kyle. He was beet red when he came home, most likely from being dehydrated and sunburned. After a few cups of water, a shower, popcicle, some dinner, & 2 bowls of cereal he was fine! LOL!
While he was at our neighborhood lake, a friend of Kyle's actually caught a turtle! It was so sad...totally struggling against the hook. It took me ten minutes or so to get the turtle unhooked. NOT an easy task. Brownie had a GREAT time down there!!!!! She is such a GREAT companion! She was very excited about all the fish Kyle caught and of course the turtle! When the kid reeled in the turtle Brownie actually JUMPED in the water and dog paddled back to shore!! It was the funniest thing ever! LOL! What a GREAT DAY!
