Lard Ball Bird Feeder

On the show Wild Kratts we observed the characters making a Lard Ball Bird Feeder-Lard rolled into a ball & over birdseed. We placed the balls in a net bag (onion bag), tied it and hung it in our backyard. It's a very cool idea. However, the birds aren't eating it. It's just slowly dripping into the grass. LOL! I'm sure they'll like it more as it gets cooler outside. I found a different idea for a bird feeder. Using an apple. I think we'll try that next.
