We had our second appointment with my midwife last night. She comes to our house...isn't it AWESOME! Our whole family piles in the living room and listens to the goings on of my pregnancy. That is so cool! We heard the heart beat for the first time yesterday. I instantly recognized it. I just felt such a warmth spread over me. I can not believe I have a mini human growing in my stomach. I am "awe" struck that I have this opportunity to grow, nurture, love & guide another little human again. GOD has completely blessed me and over whelmed me. I just pray that this baby learns to know and love GOD, is healthy and happy.

This little guys/gal's heart rate was about 155 beats per minute. Keep beating strong baby, keep beating strong! (please excuse the early morning pics...it's early!)

This is Melanie's prediction...she thinks it's a boy. Does anyone else have a prediction? She's also hoping for twins!

Melanie Started SOCCER!

Melanie is on the Striketts soccer team. She is one of 6 girls. They're team is super cute & sweet. We have a great coach, Coach Craig. It's his first year coaching and his daughter is on the team. He is making the practices & games fun. I think this experience is going to be really AWESOME!

Cross Country Meet: 08-31-13

I wish I had better pictures. It was so difficult to see him among all the runners. They have 4 schools competing at one time. The competition is high and there are a lot of people. For what seemed like the first mile to mile and a half I couldn't even find Kyle. But he ran really well this meet. He was fast! He's the one wearing orange shoes. :-)

Kyle's Practice Cross Country Meet 8-17-13

It's that time of year again...CROSS COUNTRY! Kyle did really well! I love watching him run!
