Feeding The Ducks
Aside from feeding the horses we also enjoy feeding the ducks. We are super lucky to leave around the corner from the pond. Such a relaxing, pretty place to spend part of our day.

A Baby Sent Straight From Heaven
I love how the rays of sunshine are raining down on Sean. Gives him such a heavenly look. I know God is totally shinning down on him.

Fourth of July Pictures
We have a cul de sac all to ourselves so we bought some sparklers and snaps for Melanie it play with. I even found her a giant sparkler sword that was AWESOME! She seemed to enjoy it.

What'd You Wake-Up To This Morning?
One morning, almost 2 weeks ago, Duane & I walked out to have coffee on the front porch before he went in to work and there were 3 horses eating grass from our newly laid lawn. I quickly tried to grab some carrots and apple slices to keep them in our yard and have Duane call animal control, but they were not interested. Shortly there after, a couple of police officers showed up. They had been on the hunt for them all night. But the horses were sly and were able to evade them. However, they made the mistake of wandering into our open gate to the backyard and were finally corralled by one of the officers. Turns out they were just out for a stroll because thier fence had been damaged. The owner came and got them and all was well. But, prior to our house they had been in other people's yards, at the pool, at the pond. They were everywhere on our side of Providence. I think it's safe to say that we do not live in McKinney anymore. (thanks Lori!)

Painting in the Park
We went to a cute little park in Aubrey to paint in the park. A sweet homeschooling mom that usually teaches painting invited families via FB (someone sent me the link via text) to come and paint in the park. It was really fun for Melanie. Sean was even able to participate too because of the laid back, outdoor atmosphere. Afterwards we played at the park.
