VOLCANO!

In remembrance of the August 1883 eruption of the volcano, Krakatoa, we made our own volcano. - - - - Eruption Video Below The lava was supposed to glow in the dark, that's why we waited until night to video it. That didn't work out so well. HA!

Summer Plants

Sunflowers-Grandma Linda gave Melanie a pack of Sunflower seeds to plant during her visit with us. We can't wait for them to get taller! We got this cherry tomato plant for FREE at Ace's Hardware. They were getting rid of their Summer plants. This plant was in sad shape. With a little bit of dirt, water and sun this baby has grown 2 lil tomato's! Isn't this Oregano plant pretty? I planted it last year and it has nearly taken over. It's quite difficult to maintain. We're trying to tame it though. Beautiful Oregano flowers.
