Princess Melanie?
All of a sudden she became interested in this crown. However, it seems to have been a 1 time thing.
The Love of a Younger Sibling
The older Melanie gets, the more time with Kyle she wants to have. The older Kyle gets, the less time with Melanie he wants to have. I can totally empathize with Melanie-being a youger sibling myself. I guess it could be hard for the eldest child too. But doesn't it feel good to be wanted, needed, idolized?

Doggie Park
Having a dog is so much FUN! You can do so much more with a dog than you can a cat. Since I'm more of an active/outdoor person I really enjoy taking Brownie to do things. Our second trip to the doggie park wasn't as bad. Brownie wasn't as scared or as nervous. However, she still didn't like all the attention the other dogs wanted to give her. You can't can't blame 'em though-my dog is HOT! LOL!
There was the CUTIEST Bassett puppy running around enjoying the smells! She really enjoyed Melanie's company. She followed Melanie around and attacked our leash like she was a cat!

Brownie & the Dog Park
Took Brownie to a dog park for he first time. She's such a snob! She either thinks she's a human and hates dogs. Or she thinks she's a cat (she lives with 4) and is scared of them. Either way she did not have a good time! Tail between her legs and jumping on me for me to pick her up. How will she ever survive STRUT YOUR MUTT? There's going to be TONS of dogs there! Oh Brownie-we'll just have to keep practicing at the dog park. Or I'll borrow a neighbors dog! LOL!!!

Melanie Sings to Brownie
I know there are a lot of posts with Melanie & our pets, but, lately that's all Melanie wants to do. She just wants to play with our animals. It must have something to do with the cold weather.
Now, Melanie was actually singing to Brownie. She was singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, and making up her own. However, when I brought out the camera, she stopped singing. Go figure!
Don't mind Brownie's growls. She doesn't mean anything by it! LOL!

I LOVE this Story!
Doesn't this just warm your heart! I was flippin' channels yesterday and came across this "beat-up" looking dog on Good Morning America. So of course I have to stop and listen to the story-AMAZING!

We Went ROLLERSKATING!
Kyle went on a roller skating field trip a couple of weeks ago and had a BLAST! All he talked about was wanting to go back. I looked into it, and guess what? They have a morning dedicated to mama's-STROLLERskate! I was able ot put Melanie in her stroller and skate with Kyle! But, we also had to let Melanie try skating. She like it, but she prefered her stroller! Oh my gosh, I haven't been skating in a roller rink since I was Kyle's age. A school skating party. A smile doesn't leave your face once you step on that rink! It was so much FUN! Kyle had such a GREAT idea! I'm so glad we went and we will go again, and again, and again!
