Shopping
Last week I received (2) "Spend $10.00, get $10.00 OFF" coupons for the new JCP store opening in Allen. That's pretty exciting. I took Kyle school clothes shopping there on Monday. What a great store. Bright, clean, open, organized. And the selection of clothes was fantastic. I don't remember JCP being so hipp. Kyle found some cute clothes: 3 shirts, 3 jeans, a bag o socks & underwear. The prices were really reasonable, and I got to use my coupons! Although, I didn't feel like I got anything for "FREE", like I had hoped. The cashier gave the coupons back to me and told me they were good on Tuesday too, "so, come back." What a COOL cashier! We did go back...I bought Duane a pair of jeans that were on sale for $15.99, reg. $31.99, and a pair of shorts on clearance for $10.79...I walked out of the store spending a total of $6.25 for 2 things! AMAZING!!!! Maybe I'll get similar coupons in the mail again and I'll spend it on myself next time! What a great shopping experience!

Go-Gurt
Whoever invented yogurt on the go & paired it with SpongeBob and Dora the Explorer is a GENUS! Melanie won't eat hardly anything with a spoon or fork. I'm constantly trying to find a VARIETY of finger freindly foods to give to her. Yesterday at the grocery store she mentioned yogurt so I thought we'd give it a try again. I saw "Go-Gurt" with SpongeBob on it and thought "Cool!" I showed it to Melanie & she was quite excited. Her excitment hasn't worn off..."I eat SpongeBob?" It's so cute! You have to sqeeze it like an Otter Pop to get it out. She says "Have to squeeze it."

Look How Well Melanie Can Climb
Melanie has almost mastered climbing. She's been climbing similar things like this at the park for a few months now. It was only a matter of time before she tried Kyle's bed. Next she'll be climbing in & out of her crib! CRAZY!
Cute Summer Chair
I just couldn't resist buying this chair for Melanie. I've been looking at them all summer long and kept saying to myself, "I'll wait till they go on clearence." Well, while shopping at Kroger yesterday, I saw them. There was only 2 left! Oh what the heck, I think I paid full price-$5.99. It so worth it, it's so cute! And Melanie seems to like it.

Feeding The Horses
This was such a fascinating experience! I just love animals so much, and it amazes me how much an animal will love you in return...if you have food! Melanie definitely took to the horses. Kyle & Kate were very unsure. They're BIG animals and can be pretty intimidating. Thanks Lori, so much, for an extremely fun morning.

Passing it On-Thanks Mom
My Mom made these P.J.'s for Kyle when he was about 2 years old. I kept them as a keep sake. I went through my box of keepsakes a few days ago and realized Melanie could wear a few things. I'm so glad to be able to pass this on. Thanks Mom.

Burgers Lake-Ft. Worth
What a FUN place this is! We are going to try and make a yearly family wvent out of this place. It was very family friendly, clean, safe, inexpensive and a total BLAST! If my pictures aren't enough, "google" it. You'll see.
